What starts as a humane love story linked to a noble adoption turns into a tale of deceit and mendacity with four young adults quickly maturing by the forces of life turns or poor choices. The poignant story evolves from twisted and tormented souls ultimately yearning for redemption. The final surprise revelations open the path to sincere forbearance and new beginnings for all.

The present is here

Real love and no tears

The past is just that

Old memories won’t last

Though he is no longer near

I have nothing to fear …

The feelings are gone

We never belonged

It wasn’t for real

My heart was not touched!

Life can still be agog

Despite the shadows of my past.
